Literary Essay of Romeo and Juliet

Shakespeare is known for writing a play called “Romeo and Juliet”. The outcome of the story is that Romeo and Juliet both die in the end of the play. They couldn’t love each other freely, and openly. Romeo kills himself thinking that Juliet was dead. When Juliet finds out that her husband died, she kills herself. Their deaths bring together the Capulet’s and Montague’s as one. In the play Shakes Sphere uses different characters, and each character had its own affect in the play.  The Nurse and Friar Lawrence played big roles in the play. The Nurse and Friar Lawrence are important because they helped Romeo and Juliet be together and be in love. Nurse and Friar Lawrence made a little bit easier for them both to see each other.
The Nurse Helped Romeo and Juliet be together, she was Juliet’s mother figure. She took care of Juliet ever since she was born. The nurse was the first person to find out about Romeo and Juliet being together. At first, she was really shocked hearing about their love. But when she went to deliver a message to Romeo from Juliet about getting married, she liked Romeo and described him as a kind gentleman. For example she describes Romeo, “A man young lady! Lady such a man, as all the world- why, he’s a man of wax”. She said this when she came back from delivering the message to Romeo.  Another example is when the Nurse warned Juliet about her mother coming into her room while Romeo was there. For example, “Your lady mother is coming to your chamber. The day is broke; be wary, look about.”  This quote shows that Nurse cares about Juliet and doesn’t want her to get in trouble by her mother. Also, this quote shows that the Nurse is very alert about anything that comes about Juliet.
I have learned a lot from the Nurse and Lawrence’s actions. I learned that Nurse is someone who will change their mind to not get into big trouble something. For example, Nurse told Juliet to marry Paris and forget about Romeo. That shows that she betrayed Juliet in a way.
There are the similarities of the Nurse and Friar Lawrence but there are also the differences. The nurse and Friar Lawrence helped Romeo and Juliet to be together. They both helped them in different ways. For example, the Nurse sent a message to Romeo from Juliet talking about marriage. Then, Friar Lawrence got them both married and had a brilliant plan for them to be together. The differences are that the Nurse changed her mind about Romeo when he got banished for killing Tybalt. She was trying to convince Juliet to marry Paris, saying that he was rich and very handsome.  Friar Lawrence didn’t betray them at all. Those are some of the differences and similarities of the Nurse and Friar Lawrence.
In the play Romeo and Juliet died for their love to each other. The Nurse and Friar Lawrence helped them both be together and love each other. The nurse and Friar Lawrence helped them both out in different ways. Friar Lawrence had a brilliant plan for them both but it went terribly wrong. In the end of Romeo and Juliet, The Capulet’s and Montague’s were no longer enemies and were rather became friends.
